Keiran Lusk lived and worked at Uluru for nearly 8 years, working closely with the Anangu people of the Uluru and surrounding desert region. He learned the Pitjantjatjara language for a few years and has worked as an Interpreter/Tour Guide/Bus Driver for Anangu Tours (an Aboriginal owned Tour Company at Uluru) and Desert Tracks (a small company conducting extended camping and educational tours in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara lands of South Australia). Keiran has also worked as a Coach Driver with AAT Kings (based at Uluru) and as a Ranger in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Keiran has also worked as a Tour Guide/4WD Bus Driver on the World Heritage listed Fraser Island and has spent many years exploring Australia by bicycle, his trusty old Toyota Landcruiser named Barry and in his motorhome 'Alice the Bus'.
